Instructions for Ergometric Evaluation

  • Medical Certificate

All athletes must provide, before the ergometric evaluation, a medical certificate confirming that they are able to participate in any form of exercise.

If there is no medical certificate available, you will need to sign a medical history form at our premises.

  • Evaluation Duration

60 – 75 minutes.

  • Preparation Before the Evaluation
  • Do not eat for 3 hours before the assessment.
  • Do not consume liquids during the same period.
  • Do not consume caffeine or alcohol during the last 12 hours.
  • Do not take diuretics during the last 7 days.
  • Condition Before the Evaluation
  • You should have urinated within the last 30 minutes before the evaluation (changing rooms are available on site).
  • You should be well rested and must not have exercised for at least 8 hours before the evaluation.
    • Personal Items

    Athletes should bring:

    • Sportswear and athletic shoes.
    • A towel.
    • Water.
    • An extra T-shirt.
    • Attendance During the Evaluation

    The athlete CANNOT be accompanied during the assessment.

    After the evaluation is completed, changing rooms are available on site.

    The instructions for the ergometric evaluation do not apply to appointments for genetic testing and foot analysis.
