Vertimax is a revolutionary training system with traction and resistance, using elastic bands to dramatically improve athletes’ explosiveness, speed, jumping ability (vertical jump), and strength.

It is ideal for the functional rehabilitation of injuries, offering controlled and safe training for a variety of sports. Combined with sand training, which athletes can also do at our center, it creates the perfect combination for improving explosiveness as well as speed-strength, with proven results.

Key Features & Functionality:

  • Controlled Resistance: The elastic bands provide resistance to movement, helping develop strength and power.
  • Explosive Power: It focuses on increasing lower-limb power, which is crucial for sports such as basketball, volleyball, and football.
  • Versatility: It can be used for a wide range of exercises, from jumps to speed and agility training.
  • Safety: It is considered a safe and effective method for both training and rehabilitation, reducing the risk of injury while improving performance.

Why does it stand out?

Unlike traditional weights, VertiMax allows the execution of functional movements at the real speed at which they are performed during competition. You can wear the bands on your arms or legs and perform shots, dribbling, or changes of direction.

Who is it for?

Although it started in basketball, it is now used across all sports:

  • Football: For explosive starts and quick changes of direction.
  • Tennis: For fast lateral movement.
  • Track & Field: For improving power at the start.

Sand training is one of the most effective ways for an athlete to raise their level, as the instability of the surface forces the body to work much harder.

What sand training improves

  • Explosiveness and power: Because sand “absorbs” energy, the athlete must generate much greater force to move or jump, which translates into huge explosiveness when returning to solid ground.
  • Neuromuscular coordination: The instability activates all the stabilizing muscles and improves balance and body control.
  • Cardiorespiratory endurance: Movement on sand requires 1.6 to 2.5 times more energy compared to solid ground, rapidly increasing heart rate.
